Map the actual office
ITPL and EPIP are not single destinations. Record the exact building, entry gate and typical reporting time. A 5 km commute at 9:15 AM can behave very differently from the same distance at 11:00 AM.
Test peak-hour traffic
Do at least one weekday test during the time you normally travel. Record outbound and return time, junction delays, school-zone traffic and the final approach to the office.
Keep a metro option
If the route can be combined with Purple Line travel, record the complete door-to-door journey. A strong transport option is one that remains useful when road traffic becomes unpredictable.
Work-from-home changes the brief
Hybrid workers should also assess the home itself: study space, acoustic separation, natural light, power, internet readiness and the ability to take calls without occupying the living room.
